I think that by removing the mystery around their care, it can relieve their anxiety, help get them through their treatments and improve their outcomes.\r\n\r\nIn choosing the very rewarding field of radiation oncology, I was able to combine my interest in the clinical care of patients with my interest in cutting-edge technology from my engineering background.\r\n\r\nI spent over 10 years at the University of Michigan, with my last appointment as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology.
